WED//Shoko + Junzi//Boston Public Garden Elopement

I've never seen two people so happy to be standing in the middle of the pouring rain! Spring showers couldn't keep these two from saying 'I do' in the Boston Public Garden surrounded by a circle of their closest family and friends - in fact, Shoko and Junzi were nothing but smiles all day despite the weather. Later, at their lunch reception at Mistral bistro, these self-described nerds hosted an adorable jeopardy style quiz game in Chinese and Japanese for their blended families, ending in a rousing game of marble chopsticks! Congratulations to these two incredibly sweet humans!

WED//Tori + Michael//Orpheum Theater Madison, WI

Midwest is best! I was so grateful to be able to travel back to my hometown of Madison, WI to capture these high school sweethearts' beautiful vow renewal ceremony. The ceremony and reception took place in the gorgeous old opera house theater where I saw some of my first shows, and my high school drama teacher officiated. It was a day overflowing with joy, kindness, and a healthy dose of nostalgia.

WED//Lindsey + Nate//Wentworth by the Sea

I think I'm going to have to add a cute pup requirement clause to my wedding contract after Lindsey and Nate's gorgeous and colorful garden wedding at the Wentworth. Everyone looked stunning, but I've gotta say, Lindsey and Nate's husky Dakota may have taken the cake for 'best dressed'. I'm so honored to have been a part of this beautiful day!

WED//Sophie + Dan//Charles River Museum of Industry

Sophie and Dan's chic industrial wedding was truly one for the books - brimming with joy, color, and belly laughs at every corner. Sophie rocked her mother's own purple wedding dress from the 80's (shoulderpads and all), and their beautiful warehouse ceremony blended elements of the couple's Indian and Jewish heritage. The couple said their vows under a chuppah adorned with Sophie's grandmother's sari before tearing it up to Springsteen on the dance floor.

WED//Gabby + Kaila//Kitz Farm, NH Wedding

If there's such a thing as soulmates, these two are it. Gabby and Kaila's homespun New Hampshire barn wedding was positively bursting with joy. Blue October skies, apple orchards, and a ceremony nestled beneath the New Hampshire mountains made for a picture perfect New England day, but Gabby and Kaila's beautiful entirely DIY'd details truly made the rustic affair special (seriously - these two even salvaged wood from an abandoned barn to make the centerpieces!). The love these beautiful ladies have for each other is totally radiant, and I'm so happy they chose me to capture their day!

ENGAGED//Alex + Juliana//Beacon Hill

Alex and Juliana have a soft spot for Beantown and came all the way from Toronto to do their engagement session. I had a blast exploring Beacon Hill, the Public Gardens, and Fort Point Channel to capture a bit of classic Boston for these cute Canadians, eh.

ENGAGED//Gabby + Kaila//Keene, New Hampshire

You really haven't frolicked until you've frolicked in rural New Hampshire. I spent a magical afternoon exploring the rustic hometown of these two beauties who are tying the knot this October. Warning, badassery ahead. Kaila's a New Hampshire state trooper, so be sure to watch your speed on Route 9, kids.

WED//Jen + Doug // Intimate Cape Cod Backyard Wedding

"But she looks in my eyes
And makes me realize
When she says "Don't worry baby"

Jen and Doug are the definition of chill, and it was only fitting that their day was just as down to earth as they are. Just a few pals, a brick pizza oven on wheels, and a gorgeous DIY backyard party in Hyannis, MA. I loved seeing all of their friends and family pitch in to help set up these sweet homespun details and make the day special for these two. Congrats Doug and Jen!
